Project 3 – Architect’s Atelier
An architect of Malaysia and his/ her spouse, intends to build a unit (for 2 persons) which is also used to serve as a working space for them to avoid the disturbance from outside social media.
Conceptualise the design of a studio with the suitable site context. Develop the design concept by considering the structures, materials etc. The residence will have limited functional spaces. Finalise the design proposal by preparing the necessary drawings and models. It is expected that the residence will be in single-storey with one mezzanine floor. The materials should be in bamboo and timber. The total built-up area shall be within 50-80sqm.
NATURE FIT ATELIER
THE ATELIER PURPOSE IS TO GIVE THEM THEIR OWN WORKING SPACE THAT WILL AVOID DISTURBANCE FROM OUTSIDE SOCIAL MEDIA. AS A SPORTS AND NATURE LOVER, THE PLACE IS REALLY A BENEFITS FOR THEM INCLUDING DOING THEIR WORKS THERE WITHOUT ANY DISTURBANCE AND THEY ALSO CAN ENJOY A NICE VIEW FROM EVERY PART OF THE SIGHTS. AS THE MATERIALS USED ARE TIMBER, IT WILL MAKE THEM MORE CLOSER TO MOTHER NATURE. THE DESIGN CONCEPT IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE NATURE, VENTILATION, VEGETATION AND EYE SIGHT THAT WILL PRODUCE MAXIMUM OUTCOME FOR THESE RELATED VIEWS. IT IS REALLY A CALMING PLACE FOR THEM TO LIVES IN, TO WORKS ON THEIR CARRIERS AND HOBBIES AND ALSO GETTING CLOSE TO NATURE.
